Registration with Email

To access IRBIS, the user has to navigate to the registration form by clicking on ‘Sign up now’. The user has to go through two steps of verification to complete the registration process successfully. This includes providing a valid email and then a validation step through an email that it sent to the user’s email address.

The user should first insert valid characters inside the first and last name fields (only latin characters), a valid email and a password and check the terms of service and privacy policy checkbox after reading them in the links provided below the required fields. Without checking the checkbox, the next button will not be enabled.

The user is then navigated to the email verification page where he is required to go to the inbox of the provided email and click on the link that is in the body of the received email. This way, the user has successfully completed the first step of the verification process.

After completing the email validation, the user moves to the second step where he is required to insert a valid phone number. Then, starts the second validation step. The user should receive a code to the inserted phone number.

After inserting the code from the message, the user is directed to the search page of the system where he can access the features of the system. Upon registering, the user will receive a free welcome package assigned to him as a trial period. This is to allow the user to try the features before purchasing a package.

Forgot Password

If the user forgot his password to the account, there are two ways that can be taken. The first one is to sign in using the phone number that was provided at the registration step. Upon the start of inserting a phone number, the password field disappears. Then the user receives a message with a code. When the user inserts the correct code, the sign in process is successful and the user is navigated to the search page.

The second way is by clicking on ‘Forgot your password?’. This navigates the user to insert his email address (the email address used in registration). The user then receives a link to his email to reset the password to his account. Upon completing this process, the user can then sign in to his account with the new password.

Register by Facebook/Google

The user can access IRBIS from his Facebook account or Google account. This can be done by clicking on the Google or Facebook icon on the registration page. A small popup appears to allow the user to enter the credentials for the account in Google or Facebook. After completing this step, the mail verification step is already done and the user has to do the phone verification step only. The user has to insert a valid phone number and a valid code that is in the received message. After completing this step, the user is redirected to the search page in his account.
